Stacy Lutz-Ovies has served on the Board of Directors since Fall 2017 as a representative of the West Region. Currently, she serves on the Professional Development committee.
Stacy resides in Asheville, NC as an Early Childhood Program Consultant, where she helps create sustainable changes in teacher practices and classroom environments in early childhood programs throughout Buncombe County. She holds a Master’s of Education in Leadership, Policy, and Advocacy in Early Childhood Education. With an eye on the most current research findings, Stacy facilitates trainings, workshops, presentations, and coaching on child development, classroom guidance and management, building secure relationships for young children, and more. She has spent the last several years presenting at local, regional, and national conferences.
Stacy is most passionate about advocating for infants and toddlers through increasing teacher knowledge and awareness about child development and how to apply that knowledge into early childhood settings. Prior to her current roles, Stacy has held positions as classroom teacher, assistant director, and program coordinator for various early childhood programs.
