What you’ll do:

• Plan and execute creative age-appropriate, educational activities for children in your care, covering all areas of child development
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children
• Collaborate as you work closely with the team of preschool teachers
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children
• Organize and maintain classroom activity areas, materials, and supplies
• Keep up to date with in-service training and certifications as required

• Pay rate $16.24 – $18.75 per hour

What we’re looking for:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
• CPR Certification (preferred)
• Two years experience in a licensed child care center
• History of strong written and verbal communication skills
• Vaccinated against COVID-19
• Work hours 8:30-5:30 with a one hour break

Organized as a parent cooperative in 1960, Chapel Hill Cooperative Preschool (CHCP) is a 5 Star, NAEYC Accredited Center. We offer year-round care for children 6 weeks through 5 years of age.
